Kay Fontana has been working as an artist in the bay area since 1971. Her current work has evolved during this time to a unique vocabulary of abstract images and color use. Based loosely on formalist ideas these works seek to provide the viewer an exciting experience of sensual surfaces and space. Works at this time include monotypes and mixed media acrylic on paper.
